Catch Twenty Two September - November 2018
I worked both as promoter and a bartender. I had to engage with people, distribute flyers as well as selling tickets and inform about upcoming events. Also, when working as a bartender, I needed to be responsible for the bar during certain times, tasks related to cleaning, cashier, keep customers belongings safe and in order.
Disassembling and Assembling a Computer
During my foundation year, I had the opportunity to go through the process of disassembling and assembling a computer. It was very challenging at first but ended up being a really good experience.
HTML5 Learning Website
This project allowed me to have a better understanding of HTML5 and CSS while creating my own website.
MakeBlock Mbot Ranger
The Makeblock mBot Ranger is a STEM educational robot. The robot can be built into three different robots, I choose the Land Raider because that was the one that caught my attention.
Learning while playing with a robot was honestly a very fun way to get started with programming. It increased my creativity significantly and also taught me that I must be patient. My group project consisted of a relay race, where the robot moves forward, (with or without) obstacles makes a turn and comes back (with or without obstacles). Also, there will be two robots cheerleading for the race competitors.
Python Telegram Chat Bot
This project was probably the one I enjoyed doing the most. I think chatbots is something really cool and I didn't expect to do such thing this soon. Since this was a group project, my group and I divided some tasks. I was responsible for the weather feature. However I tried to add as many features as I could. At the beginning of this project, I was not very happy how things were going because I did not know how much research and patience this project required. However, I managed to create a simple yet cool bot using the Open Weather Map API for weather requests.
